Who we are,
and what we stand for.

Learn more

We are public servants, not career unionists - committed, able and willing to build a stronger, more democratic and more effective union.

Our strength comes from a real public service experience, both in leadership and frontline roles - negotiating directly with management and engaging openly with the colleagues we serve alognside. We have the experience, clarity and determination to deliver what we promise.

We will review the Members' Service Centre to ensure you receive timely, expert industrial advice. We will assess the existing staffing, qualifications and legal support available to have your industrial representation in person and in your workplace, not over the phone and by someone who you have no rapport with.

We will hold a union-wide vote on CPSU's affiliation with the Australian Labor Party, finally giving members the authority to decide whether affiliation continues or ends and if retained, we will use it far more assertively to advance members' interest.
